Arcturus Consulting builds practical software for parts retailers, distributors, and small businesses — and then runs and stands behind it. We’re not a marketplace of plug-ins; every tool we ship, we use ourselves.
Why Arcturus exists
Arcturus started with a real problem in a real store. Our founder runs a 40,000+ SKU HVAC and plumbing parts business online, where the quietest lost sale was always search: a customer types “the thing that keeps my pilot light lit,” gets zero results, and buys it somewhere else.
So we built AI Parts Finder — an AI that reads a store’s own catalog and turns plain-English, symptom, or model-number questions into the exact in-stock part. It proved itself on our own catalog first; now other parts retailers run it on theirs. The same instinct drives One App, our custom software for small businesses drowning in five disconnected tools.
Who’s behind it
Arcturus Consulting is led by founder Jason DuBose — a hands-on operator who still runs a large online parts store every day. That means the software is built by someone who lives the problems it solves: inventory, search, invoicing, and customer follow-up, not theory. Jason sets the roadmap and answers support himself, so when you reach out, you reach a real person who has shipped orders.
